We were actually having a good discussion that I think hits the node between appreciating what judges are doing and why there is still something unsatisfying about how this is playing out for real people in unlawful detention. We can/should be better to each other so we can converse.

They are using that time- from unlawful arrest, custody and detention- to keep people in deplorable conditions. This “process” of not following orders until the last minute sanctions (allows) this to keep going on. It’s better than nothing- you are right. But it’s still insidious.

Agree, but if you read it this order gives ICE an easy out by just doing what the judge already ordered- releasing the man from custody- and then it can avoid the show cause hearing. I’m not saying the judge has to do more but I can understand the frustration of the posters.

The fact they are pointing out his EKG reading before he was asked to take a CT scan and then don’t talk about the results of that scan instead of just saying “no abnormalities”- can we get a real doctor to talk about this and explain?

Need Perri also to come off his line sooner- he’s a little tentative in these situations.

We do deserve better, please let someone else do this.

I think you are missing the value of mass protest as a means of creating opportunity for new leadership and voices/ a must for the missing alternative in our politics today. Dem leadership vacuum is largely filled by these events. Watch.
