Been enjoying my PVS 14 to look at stars. They are right that you should not look at the moon with it however. Turns into an eldrich horror. Bonus helmet with some dumb shit

Gave this Otis Suppressor cleaning kit a try, left the can to soak in the solution for 24 hours, turned the carbon into something that could get wiped out with a rag, basically no scrubbing required. an entire bottle mixed per instructions was required to filled above can 1/2

Some advice from one of me other friends who also RO'ed Major matches with me
1) Know your zero
2) Dont mix Ammo
3) Bad sights exist.
4) Bullpups suck
5) Test Suppressors
6) Shoot positions
7) Know how 2 Clear jams
8) -1 your mags
9) Buy Good Mags toss when bad
10) keep shooting

So 3 of the 4 patio kittens got taken to the shelter on monday. When i finished with them they were litterbox trained and could handle being picked up and carried around by people. Momma cat has a second attempt at TNR in two Saturdays. As for the 4th kitten...

Four coats of raw linseed and the first coat of home made hard wax finish later
time for my first woodworking project. finishing this M1 Garand stock. Doing a raw flaxseed (linseed) base. this is just the first coat and already looking good. Once I have a few coats it will be finished by a BLO/Beeswax hardwax finish I made myself.

Its amazing what a different set of grips will do to the character of a revolver. Got the wooden hogue grips because my hands kept slipping up under recoil with 357 on the SSR grips and i dont like the way the rubber grips look that it came with.

Picked up a 2XL Ranger flop in soft from @were.dog and have been putting it through its paces. its a good toy. the tip does a really good job at locating my deepest parts and just getting there. I can feel that i really want to take the knot but just am not stretchy enough/toy not squishy to start.

Mom cat, the other cat i was trying to trap for TNR showed back up the other day and brought her kids with her to the cat shelter in built and put on my back patio

after 24 hours both cats were ready to go but have been back to score some more food i left out for them after surgery.

Just finished my first session of TNR, cats are healthy and back out into the wild. bit stressful but glad everyone is ok. The little kitten actually seemed to enjoy her time in recovery jail, having food and water brought to her and the thermostat set at 70. The Tom not so much.

Made contact with someone that helps out with TNR in the county and got some traps and a Community cat appointment to get two of the ferals that keep hanging out in my back yard altered.
The 6 month old wanted to see what I was doing and jumped to the food. Bless her heart
