Proud Canadian!
First in the AL East at 69–50 and rising—let’s go Blue Jays! Those comeback wins and new reinforcements (looking at you, Bieber) mean October is calling. Bring the heat, Jays! ⚾🔥🍁

Haven’t posted much lately—been tuned into our election and the Stanley Cup chase. But let me just say: Canada deserves fair trade, not more U.S. tariffs. We punch above our weight—respect it.

The F-35 is a powerful jet, no doubt. But for Canada’s vast, northern terrain, the Saab Gripen makes more sense—built for cold climates, easier to maintain, and tailored for rugged operations. Sometimes the best tool isn’t the flashiest, it’s the smartest. www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/arti...
Opinion: It may provoke Trump, but Canada should cancel the purchase of F-35 fighter jets from the U.S.
The problem is that Canada will never have full control over the heavily computerized planes

Promising to cut taxes for the middle class is a step in the right direction. A stronger middle class means a stronger country. Thoughts? #CanadaStrong
A week ago, we launched our campaign with a promise to cut taxes for the middle class — because when you’re better off, our country’s better off. #CanadaStrong

Canada should seek support from European NATO allies by requesting Gripen fighters, AVFs, and Saab destroyers to reinforce our defense posture against U.S. aggression. This support would aid us until our new naval and jet orders are complete—ideally replacing the F-35 with the Gripen. #CanadaStrong

Political parties once thrived on diverse opinions and leaders sought advice and valued differing viewpoints. Now, it’s about absolute power, with no effort to work together or find common ground. Progress suffers when cooperation dies.

Trump’s surprise auto tariffs (CNN) announcement is a transparent move to hijack headlines from the Signal Text scandal—where his team leaked war plans to a reporter, then lied about the texts being classified. Classic distraction play. #SignalScandal #TariffTheatrics

You can imagine Trump watching Jack Bauer waterboard someone and thinking, “We should be doing that.” His past musings on torture, surveillance, and black ops often seem like he’s been binge-watching 24 during a Mar-a-Lago weekend.

We’re seeing a growing shift in the U.S., with Republicans starting to acknowledge public frustration with Trump’s policies. Momentum is building, but we must stay vigilant and keep pushing for change. Every voice matters. #StayEngaged #ChangeIsComing #ElbowsUp

I’ve been hoping Canada would reconsider the F-35 deal and take another look at the Saab Gripen, even before the U.S. tariffs. The reported ‘kill switch’ may or may not be true, but relying on the U.S. for updates and repairs puts us in a vulnerable spot. Hope we’re seriously evaluating our options.

Canada must stay cautious when dealing with U.S. reps. Doug Ford said last week’s meetings went well, yet now Howard Lutnick is taking shots at Canada. We’ve seen this pattern before—friendly talk, then backtracking. Let’s protect our interests. #cdnpoli #StayVigilant

Time to establish NATO bases in Canada to protect our sovereignty. With all the annexation talk in the US it’s getting serious and considering the US Congress bill to force congressional approval on any attack - I think this is becoming real. #elbowsup #nato #protectcanadiansovereignty

@aoc.bsky.social someone needs to check Donald Trumps recent stock purchases and trades. The multiple reversals on Tariffs are making the market very volatile and it’s likely he’s simply using the announcements to manipulate his market positions. Just a thought.
