Yes, this is a good addition. However I wonder if you start adding such specific cases for every field of research, then how long will the list become? This of course is a finding of its own.

It is too early to tell, but I suspect the societal impact of drones is also not as revolutionary as the authors argue. This may be a massive change militarily - a RMA - yet have only limited impact on broader social, economic and political structures as the early modern military revolution did. 2/2

Interesting and welcome comparison. Very topical! However, the article perhaps overlooks other military revolutions and RMAs and places too much emphasis on the tercio itself, rather than the broader infantry and gunpowder revolution. 1/2
