"...hybrids of machine and organism; in short, we are cyborgs." This was the first sentence that finally made sense to me, and it made me wonder that if we are cyborgs with sentience and emotion, does that mean it is possible for machines to have a "soul" in the future? #BSUENG490

I was personally conflicted by their choice to call Ada "The Ada". I found it partially endearing, as they were insinuating that she was unique and there were no other people like her - hence "the". But I also found it partially demeaning, almost as if she was worth no more than her name. #BSUENG490
