The arguments are cogent for birthright citizenship, especially for supposed textualists and originalists.

Originalism, which I find absurd already, becomes a true joke if they torture the 14th amendment that much.

I am so looking forward to this. Candace Millard’s “Destiny of the Republic”— the historical underpinning of this historical drama— is simultaneously brilliant and poignant. Michael Shannon will provide nuance and power to an ignored president - his intelligence, decency and potential cut short.

The filibuster is an anti-democratic, extra-constitutional anachronism. If the Senate needs it to protect itself against itself, maybe they should make better policy decisions.
