That should be one of the rules of their coverage, the timing tower should always be visible with either the interval or the gap to leader, even during replays. Add on not always forcing a cut to the leader crossing the line and banning coverage of spectators/families and coverage would improve alot

I think Oscar had the better strategy overall, but fighting Leclerc in the first half put Lando in a position that he could fight for the win if he pushed hard. I don't think strategy can be blamed here, Lando just managed to put in everything he had, he sounds exhausted after that.

In reality, if you accelerated something to that speed within the atmosphere it would just be vaporised due to compression heating. But it's still funny to think about!

It's an entirely subjective thing, personally I liked not having all the data available for once but I can see why some people would like to be able to have all the data

I'm still trying to figure out if the race was actually that good or if not having all of the data all of the time made it a better experience (not saying the racing wasn't good, really was some good action on track)

I always complain when they cut away from a hard fought battle to show a driver crossing the line all by themselves miles ahead of the next driver, so I'm all for sticking the leader in PiP and focusing on the fight

If you're a younger viewer or a casual viewer that doesn't have the time or attention span to deal with 10 launch events over 2/3 weeks, I'm sure this is great, and they can make some good social media content from it to promote the start of the season, but for the rest of us it's pretty meh
