On our last day in Japan we visited 84 Hashi, a bar ran by a former Nintendo dev with walls covered in amazing pieces of video game history. Pieces donated/signed/illustrated by legends like Koji Kondo, Shigeru Miyamoto, Fumito Ueda and so many more. Highly recommend it if you’re in Tokyo!

Second to last day in Japan, we decided to visit Disney TokyoSea. We loved it, but most importantly I managed to find a copy of Pilotwings on the way home!

Awesome first day here in Kyoto. Shopping, ramen, little shrines, a ring-making workshop and now back to the hotel to chill. I picked up a copy of Emio the Smiling Man too, so time to play in bed! Nintendo Museum tomorrow! 😊

Nintendo Tokyo store destroyed my bank balance! The Ghibli Museum was perfect. Our Hakone villa was beautiful, the temples we’ve visited are amazing…and I picked up Ocarina of Time! 😊

Having an amazing time in Japan so far. 5 wonderful days in Tokyo, then a special overnight stay in Hakone with a successful proposal! We’re now in Kyoto for 5 nights (Including the Nintendo Museum), then Osaka for 3 nights, then back to Tokyo for 3 more nights.

Just grabbed this after trying it on Game Pass a while back and deciding to wait and grab it in a sale on PS. Loved what I played beforehand and looking forward to diving in again. Anybody else played this little gem?

Never played it, let’s go! It just got a huge reduction on the Nintendo eStore if anybody else is curious enough to finally dive in.

68 hours in now, still absolutely in love with this game. In a packed year, I think it will be my GOTY once credits have rolled.

I’m hoping to pick up a copy of Ocarina of Time in Japan, because I love the Japanese box art. If anybody knows of any other old school games with cool Japanese box art then let me know! I’m going to get a 3DS XL while there too.
