Yeah honestly he sounds like the sort of person they hire a lot of - I know there's a big contraction there at the moment (I mean, they laid me off), but next year is apparently looking hopeful.

My default suggestion would be for him to look for an entry-level job at Wētā FX, but the recent layoffs kinda argue against that. In the medium term, he could keep an eye out for positions such as render wrangler once they start recruiting again next year.

Yeah small breed reactivity is a whole thing. Our wee dog is lovely but can get really nervous on a lead around bigger dogs (off-lead she's much better, cos she knows she can hide behind us if necessary)
