Painting gives me a sense of worth where there was none before. It took me 40 odd years to stop listening to negative thoughts and realise I could actually follow my dreams. I've painted every day I can since. I like to write too. #art #artist #painter #acrylicpainter #ukartist #painting #artlife
Artist Jack Greenwood poses on the right, in profile, smiling and looking up. Next to him is his painting 'Don't Give Up' which depicts him sat in a chair looking down. A self portrait within the self portrait is on an easel with a trolley of paints next to it. The carpet is dark red and the walls yellow ochre, various paintings within the painting are on the walls. A small one of his hands and feet, dirty after gardening. Below that is a painting of Jack with his rescue dog Nora who is no longer with us.
There's a painting of a caravan from a holiday in Wales. A painting of his other half Bella drinking tea in a gallery cafe.
A painting of a filmmaker who made a documentary about Jack. Another painting shoes Jack laying supine with his rescue cat Normie laid across him. Norm is no longer with us. There's a painting of Bella and Oma our present rescue dog and below that a painting of Janet E's feet wearing red shoes from Twin Peaks the return.
On the left is a chest of drawers with paint supplies and an Osho book on top.
One of the drawers isn't properly closed because a jumper is poking out.
Underneath the drawers is an amplifier.
There is a window with an ethereal seraphim looking through and below we see Oma in her basket looking up to the window sensing the presence outside.
On the window sill is a stuffed toy of Mr Domo, a Japanese character. A portrait of Oma and a speaker with a log lady funko pop on top.
This photo was taken of Jack and his painting at the Wells Art Contemporary exhibition 2024.

Getting woken up each morning by this funny little guy makes life so much better.

This photo by Jack Greenwood shows Jack's rescue dog, Zorro who is 7 years old and has been with Jack and Bella for just under five months and comes all the way from Serbia.
He wakes Jack up by pouncing on him and play attacking him by batting him with his paws, then a minute later is all serene and cuddly.
He is the most loving little fellow and also is very funny and mischievous. This photo by Jack Greenwood shows Jack's rescue dog, Zorro who is 7 years old and has been with Jack and Bella for just under five months and comes all the way from Serbia.

This photo shows Jack Greenwood dressed as a zombie for an event at the big chill music festival.
The Big Chill 2009 hosted a large-scale zombie event as part of a world record attempt for the largest gathering of zombies, which resulted in 4,026 participants being counted and filmed for a short horror film called I Spit on Your Rave. The event, a collaboration with Film4 and Warp Films, encouraged festival-goers to dress as zombies to break the record and be featured in the movie.

😀 Brilliant, it must have seemed like such a good idea.
I can't believe people climb up to the top of them, I saw people stood on top.
It was a great time and then we went on to Tenby.
