Hi, I've decided to start a separate account from my art account @jackgreenwoodart.com just for my tarot related things.

I asked it about an opportunity I was thinking about going for. This King looks a bit unsure. There's an opportunity that could be missed by the sleeping cowboy. I like how the rainbows that illustrate it are echoed in the raising up in the judgement card which says to me, don't be lazy and miss out, get off your butt and go for it. The passion of the king should be followed. I love spending time with the cards before bed, it clears my head and makes me feel warm inside.

Finally got my hands on the Visionary Woman tarot.
I absolutely adore it, so beautiful.
Very direct and to the point too, it speaks to my depths.
This is a personal reading I'm working on now so won't go into details.

You're one of six identical sextuplets and you will soon meet the other five. You'll be confused and completely lost, none knowing which way to turn. And if you are bewildered now, I see you with a very glazed expression later. You'll be amazed.

I asked, should I use my limited funds to put my art book together (first row) or get some art prints done instead (second row) Choice 1, Although this may seem like a good choice, it will only bring a temporary sense of accomplishment and will bring with it a big headache. Choice 2, This will help with the flow of fundage, it will be useful to the current art/Tarot project and help move forward with more solid plans.

When I get a new deck and have decided I like it enough that I'm going to use it as a regular reading deck, I like to then spend quite a bit of time with it. . I take notes of each card, I sometimes work through tarot exercises from books I've read before. . II do readings for anything I can think of or use practise reading questions from books. . Doing this makes me feel like I really bond with that deck and it becomes a part of my family. . These are some of my favourite times, the wind is blowing outside, rain is lashing on the kitchen window and front door, I'm writing and sipping tea, life feels nice. . The Good Fortune tarot is so lovely.

Was tidying drawers and found these Twin Peaks playing cards someone gave me ages ago.

I was tidying drawers today and found this old deck of Twin Peaks playing cards that I was gifted years ago, so decided to do a little reading, just for fun. . I've been thinking about selling a collection of paintings I did. Top 3 cards were for sell. Bottom 3 for keep for now. . To me it's saying with the Threes being cards of expansion leading to the creative energy of the king of wands that selling would be auspicious. . The fives at either side of the 7 of cups, which weirdly I did a post about yesterday would suggest a stifling of my goals by hanging on to these paintings. . This is the loosest interpretation of a reading as its a socials post and its late 😁 It was just good seeing the cards and I never realised how nice they were.

This photo shows the three of Pentacles from the Albano Waite. A lot of people seem to see this as collaboration. I don't. I see it as someone who is really good at what they do but sometimes has to put up with other people or appease them just so they can get on with what they live doing. With meanings, they all have their nuances which depend on what's going on in the context of the reading. Other times the card will say something completely different because of how a particular reading plays out in the moment, and what intuition tells us at that moment.

Four of cups comparison across three decks. What is it with me and the four of cups recently? . Every reading I've done for myself for the past month, whatever deck I've used, this card shows up, really! . To say a general undercurrent of sorrow has been with me my whole life would be an understatement but lately I've been feeling really positive. . It does seem I'm often stuck in a rut though, since I sobered up, and years before that, stopped taking drugs, I've spent a lot of time trying to become a person who can enjoy life again but I suppose those ingrained mindsets take a lot of work to change. .
