I'm feeling bummed that the market for Historical Romance books is dwindling - I absolutely adore this genre. They are my comfort, my happy place, the world I return to when I need an escape. Thankfully, there are 1000s of books published but oh, what are we losing? #romancebooks #histrombooks

And I am such a mood reader but right now I'm in the mood to read the entire Women of Brambleberry House series by RaeAnne Thayne. Harlequin Special Edition is my other category love. All the books I've read in this line so far have been 5 stars. Perfect for when you need a cozy romance.

So what happened was I started getting a little bored with notorious in the last 50 pages and instead I picked up A Soldier's Return by RaeAnne Thayne that I got at a little free library and now I'm on book 2 of the series & it's really great - cozy romance set in an Oregon beach town. #romancebooks

I'm 60 pages into Notorious and love it so far. (Ugh why do I have to work? I just want to be reading!) Sweet cowboy wants to redeem who he thinks is a fallen woman. Little does he know he just walked right into her trap... 🔥

I'm a working mom with two little ones. Time feels so limited, but I love love love starting a new book and finishing a book - the sense of accomplishment, you know? Categories are perfect for this stage of life because you get right to the point & can experience so many more books.

If anyone knows of some good deep gives into this line (i.e. Blaze), please let me know. I'm eating up everything I can find and it's slim pickings (or I'm looking in the wrong places?). I know Blaze was meant to be a step up in terms of heat from Temptation and Desire, which ran at the same time.

I'm starting the very first Harlequin Blaze novel, Notorious by Vicki Lewis Thompson. Came out August of 2001, 208 pages. I like going in blind but seems to be about childhood enemies to lovers with a wild FMC who he finds walking into a Vegas strip joint. I'm ready. #harlequinbooks #categoryromance
