I dont think Tidal is outright bad, and there's a lot of reasons I'm sticking with it - Them paying artists much better than Spotify being one of them, the hi-fi quality being another.

Just worth keeping in mind some of it's negatives! Hope you have a better experience than I've been having 🫡

And on the mobile app, I turned off "Dolby Atmos" audio because it messes with some of the mixes of songs. And when I turned it off, it worked! For every album EXCEPT "Smile! :D" by Porter Robinson for some reason?? Then some tracks will play the original mixes, but others the Dolby ones.

One of the most common issues I run into is a simple one, but one that just shouldn't exist in the first place. On Desktop, when one song ends and it starts to play another, sometimes it will just start playing the previous track again for some reason?

Love Tidal, but DAMN is it busted to hell and back.

These are all the big reasons I used Tidal, but sadly I 100% get why people would stay on other services because the app - Both on Desktop and mobile - Is one of the worst pieces of crap I've ever used. I run into issues on a daily basis, some that should be simple to fix.

Especially when they have the funny colors and patterns that go brrrrrrrr when they spin so cool

Any band that requires three whole posts in a response to "whats should I start with" is one to look out for.
