What's this? One of my pictures published in a magazine?!

Big thanks to Lawrie's Mechanical Marvels for using one of the pictures I got of Jupes and the Commer in his article for Suffolk Norfolk Life,

Seeing one of my pictures published like this makes me really happy and I appreciate it so much.

This is Smokey, one of the station cats at the Mid Norfolk Railway's Dereham station, he loves some fuss and attention and jumped into my lap when I sat on a bench!

Just waiting for my train home and suddenly, a class 57 & class 69 rail tour just turns up on my platform!
So glad my camera was still set up in the correct mode from Bressingham today and that I got this surprise on my way home

They may be an extremely common sight on British railways but I do love seeing a shed (class 66) go past.

In preparation for photo charters next week No.4 Edward Thomas has been turned to face downhill - the first time in 15 years!

Once the charters are over, No.4 will be spun back to face uphill - so now's your chance to get some extraordinary photographs!

Fumbled the shutter speed as I'm still half asleep and this was not scheduled through the station as I arrived but after looking at it, I enjoy the way this came out
