Nowadays I have so many CDs if I buy more I know they will not get played that much (but do not like feeding the man & starving the artist via Spotify)

So I abandoned being a completist and now only buy 1 or 6 a year, mostly artists new to me

I draw the line at the shouty stuff these days

Well nowadays I stop myself buying "the latest" when I already have a rack of albums by an artist (I feel sorry for Swifties who don't.... ) and now pause at two

Every so often I look for new artists - but they must be young

South London produced a rack of great female singers in recent years....

Actually a policy of promoting more young folk to become apprentices & learn a skill in short supply (some are very well paid) is sane - & would naturally lead to fewer taking up a uni place - but she has to stress attacking unis

1, There was no "hung" parliament in 2017 - in fact the Tories had a majority of 5 - any other Labour Leader would have done better, and I reckon Andy Burnham would have beat May
