Much easier than trying to sell a concept cold.

Give it a go next time you are trying to shift someones thinking.

Some tips when speaking in front of people you know:

Call it out - it can help the awkwardness

Focus on your message not yourself - keep coming back to the value you can share.

Try eye contact with the odd person you don’t know (or know less well)
