Voters obviously don’t feel this way, but at this point it’s basically undeniable that there’s a significant portion of the elected elite and certainly the donor class that would prefer losing elections over having the party meaningfully stand up to capital and take a principled stand on Israel.

They were killing it with Walz’ politics and style and then she started listening to all the people who helped Clinton lose. They were getting polling telling them it was destroying their chances. Particularly on Gaza. They didn’t care.

Didn’t the Democrats literally just vote three times this year to fund this government, which has turned ICE into a world power military and has defunded Obamacare? Didn’t Harris promise no change in course on Israel? Seems like a good case for “both parties are the same” for a lot of people.

Blaming voters for strategic and tactical errors that caused the party to lose two gigantic elections is…continuing a losing strategy. If you’re going to continually tack to the center, and then it doesn’t even work against a fascist candidate, well then what are we even doing?

Bro, you need to get a grip. I’ve never considered myself part of “the left.” But like, actual commies were never going to vote for Democrats anyway. The Democratic Party is losing DEMOCRATS. People who have been the backbone of the party are wondering why we’re palling around with Liz Cheney.

Yeah except that’s not what happened. The sad reality is the Democratic message (to the extent it even exists) sucks. They don’t focus enough on economic issues and when they do, it’s watered down neoliberal nibbling that doesn’t appeal to anyone.

With Democrats like this, why blame Republicans for anything? Not just a rando, either. This guy is supposed to be the fucking leader. So fucking pathetic.
