I mean, I really don't think DS3 is the game to be experienced for 200 hours imo. For a first time player, pvp was really fun. And first experience is much more important than everything beyond first or second playthrough.

And I've tried being both blue fantom, invader, aldritch faithful and dlc covenant. I've found all of these to be fun, and actually didn't expect to encounter so many players.

Have to disagree. DS3 was my first introduction to souls pvp, and several of my most memorable moments were with interacting with other players. Offline DS experience is much less memorable imo.

FR IS mostly just the mess, mostly due to it trying to be as generic fantasy as possible. So all the fun stuff usually comes from Spelljammer, Planescape, Ravenloft, Eberon, etc.

I agree that he is overpraised, when there are so many good writers, and his fans specifically can be insufferable.
But is it that bad how he uses characters to deliver a message? I don't think it's more or less preachy than something like Disco Elysium, but maybe I just remember it bad.

Is there specific reason you dislike Chris writing btw? I see you disliking him often, but I kinda like all games where he was in the writing room.

Ehhh, I think for ttrpg format spell slots work really well. Definitely much better than modern mana systems. But when spell slots get translated into video game format - this shit gets so fucking annoying.
