Glad to see he’s as much of an asshole as ever. Horrible column.

Camera tickets are very hard to enforce. There is no way to prove the driver. And the DC/MD/Va governments can’t get in the same page for any reciprocity. Has nothing to do with reform or progressive policy.

Appreciate it mightily. But what’s going on there that this stuff keeps happening? I have subscribed for years but am going to cancel if this keeps up. It’s such poor journalism.

Talk about self serving. What part of going to Mississippi to register voter or going to segregated lunch counters had to with campus protests? Putting those sleeping in tents on the lawn, in the same breath as those who risked physical beatings & violent arrest in the segregated South is rich.

Ok. Please educate me. Every school I’ve attended or put kids through doesn’t spend tuition money on investments. They use the money donated to the endowment.

They are specifically stating that’s it about how their tuition dollars are being spent. Just quoting what they are saying. If that’s not what they mean then they shouldn’t say it.

Their tuition was never going to Israel. They don’t seem to even get how this all works. It’s the endowment that is funded by donors that is invested. To bring down tuition via grants and scholarships. The tuition dollars pay salaries and bond payments and keep the lights on.

“AI” is much more than chat GPT. It’s used in processing videos and photos. Allowing content creators and editors to do amazing things. And because of these new chips it’s all ‘on device’. Protecting your privacy. Not being shipped into the cloud. It’s a good thing.

I was at the lecture and Raskin tried in vain to engage the protesters but none of them could actually engage in a dialogue. They just read statements from their phones and chanted their rhyme. Those of us that took time out of week to hear the actual talk were deprived of that opportunity.

Remembering high school Friday nights with Kix in the cassette deck of the piece of shit car I had.
