Soon Trump will take office...and anything else can steal. Now that he doesn't have to worry about reelection he can focus on funding his legal expenses and the judgments he will have to pay.

I've become somewhat trepidatious, of late, whenever someone says "it's the law" in a comment about why Trump's schemes won't work. I don't think he cares, nor do any of his minions. They expect to, and probably will be able to, twist the law to their own ends.

The US Constitution creates and demands an absolute separation of the three branches of government. Trump has no more authority to order the Senate to take an extended recess so he can make recess appointments than he does to demand a State to find 11,780 votes.
