In that case would Stephen King approve an It that was not in Pennywise form? Clearly he has. It is much more than Pennywise. Pennywise is merely an avatar(an easier to relate to image) of an unimaginable horror, not the sum of it. We are getting the unfiltered and unfettered It.

One of the best parts of Welcome to Derry is that we get to experience It without the Pennywise avatar for it to hide behind. We are getting a truer unfiltered picture It’s horror.

Oh my. That pickle scene! Plus the everyday horrors that go on; the racism, the greed, the institution… it is hard to imagine what ratchets up will amount to.

Mine would make mixed baby greens salads edible again. I miss salads. I have enough cake.
