I've found over the years that when seedlings go completely it is usually down to a combination of positioning (to near slug habitat) and too few predators such as frogs. And I agree with you completely, I love your plan! Go with what works for easy harvests.

Two roe deer bucks hanging out together this morning. One older with magnificent antlers. I wasn’t as quick at photographing the kestrel that landed on a post to squawk at me while I was rummaging in a bush.

That would be great, especially on windows.

Where we are, a neighbour had solar panels turned down in a garden of a listed building because they were 'too shiny' forgetting about all of the windows.

Some of them area, I think like all patrons there are the occasional spicy one. I've found no rhyme of reason as to why some are spicy and others not! They aren't that spicy though, I'd say low spice. While most aren't at all. Also it depends on the supplier.
