Surely taking the 303 lump sum paying your tax and making a contribution is better. With a mere 5% interest rate, you'll have made your money back in 16 years. The remaining 14 years is exponential upside, and you've made a nice contribution to schools and stuff.

To those making stereotypes: please accept that the cost of receiving this catharsis is reinforcing behaviour that bad actors meeting the stereotype can reason their behaviour is natural and not something they can control, or the baseline for them to measure themselves against.

All good. I studied economics and have a good take on the Austrian school, Keynesian, and others. I appreciate your position, but I suspect there is something wrong with the US model. The numbers suggest it. Many living outside of the US look towards it with pity, especially in this regard

I reckon that is why there is a line between the UK of GB and NI, and Republic of Ireland. France isn't part of Germany either, though they share the same colour.
