I usually start out deferring to someone on where they want to go. So I expect some eating! I’ll ask 100 times if they want anything else or if everything is ok if they only nibble. I can only know what I think truly, but I’ve been told that by women I’ve seen before. But always nice to hear again. I get in my head most times that I’m somehow not making our time enjoyable enough for the other person.

I can only hope that our actual time together feels like anything BUT work for you all. Part of what makes me happy is the belief/hope that we’re able to create easy conversation and relax into a few hours where we don’t have to think about all the other stresses in life. The lead up is part of that
