wdym "revisiting"? I'm still obsessed with #pjo. Most #fanfiction I read on #ao3 is #pjo lol
It gets to the point where I don't really read any published books anymore

You can. Or use #PixelFed.

Hey Hank! Quick Question: Is mas.to/@hankgreen your Mastodon account? Since you have neither Bluesky nor Mastodon linked on your website, hankgreen.com.

Some websites help with that:
fedi.tips
kevquirk.com/blog/getting...
Help with choosing an instance: fedi.garden, fediverse.observer, fediverse.party/en/portal/se... or instances.social
I would advise spending 2h reading & writing down potential servers and then choosing one.

If you disagree with the scientific consensus, then you better have big arguments for why. If you can't provide the necessary arguments or evidence, then you are gonna get criticized & corrected, yes. How someone deals with criticism is the true show of character.

yup. And immediately back to you... The US political system is deeply flawed for allowing something like this.

yup. If your content is not behind a login wall & an "accept follower" button, everyone can steal it via Web scraping.

Well, you can still use Internet services. Just use the ones that you trust, that are non-commercial, and that are hosted by you or friends.
Utilize the #Fediverse! It's built on top of a public protocol (ActivityPub by the W3C), not an in-house one like Bluesky.

I didn't want to join Bluesky, bc it's another social media app owned by a for-profit. But I joined bc of the same reasons why I still am on Insta & TikTok: all the people creating the content I want to see are here.
I would rather stick to the #Fediverse. I have plans to move my Insta there.

B. writefreely.org oder joinplu.me anschauen.

Interessante These zu Social Media.

I was also surprised. But then, we also had a lot of "science-skeptics" during the Covid-pandemic...

Most scientific articles have a "discussion and suggestions" section at the end. Often they suggest what could be studied further. But when they study what effects policies have on their topic, or propose changes that would benefit their topic, it gets inherently political. E.g.: climate science
