Hey Jarrett love the work. Thera is a rise in high AAV, short term deals with opt outs after every year for FAs on QOs recently. Why have teams gotten risk averse on contracts that have limited surplus value upside. Are long term deals for good players a market inefficiency?

@seidler.bsky.social Hi Jarrett love the pod You discuss aging guys let the ball travel more as a precursor to being done. I found similar (Betts, Teoscar, Lamont wade all have seen intercept point get deeper and then performance follows) Is that a concern for willson contreras (15 to 5 past 3 yrs)
