Lake effect snow returns on Monday. The snow is mainly confined to the lakeshore. By Tuesday morning, 3 to 5 inches in Erie County and more than 6 inches in Chautauqua County. Very frigid as well with wind chills below -10 Monday night.

We are taking a break from the snow for now. Tonight looks mainly clear but also chilly. Slightly warmer Monday afternoon with a chance of wet snow showers. The snow turns to rain Monday night as the temperatures slowly rise.

Holiday travel may be difficult today as lake-effect snow returns and temperatures drop to the 20s. An additional 2 to 6 inches across NW Pennsylvania by tonight. Be careful out there! Saturday looks snow-free and milder.
