OK. Last time.
A D&D Stirge detaches after draining 10 HP of blood. Therefore HP are a measurable unit of blood (I estimate 200ml per HP).

Characters with high HP might have hundreds of liters contained in their bodies at high pressure. Even light nicks tend to spray anime-style.
It's science.

Have you tried reaching out to local gaming stores? I was able to get rid of a couple of copies of the too many zines I printed that way. I didn't make much money from it, but it felt good to at least see it on a shelf.

Ha. I told my player they heard dozens of creatures flapping, and little angry screeching noises that made the hair on their neck stand up. Definitely not bats. Their 2 hp character proceeded to throw rocks down the hole while no other characters were close enough to help 😂

let me share a little story about a remarkable wasp that I encountered yesterday in our local deserts

I stumbled across her, and scrambled to get a few crappy photos .... but then realized that she had a burrow, perhaps a better photo op was possible ??
