I’ve never seen middle schoolers more in their element than Just Dance

Fun. Final project is a “Stump” presentation, research and present someone connected to our topics for the year and try to stump me…then, Just Dance 😂

Portfolios are definitely on my to-do list! And yep, we’re already full blown SBG so I’ve got rubrics up the wazoo for every type of skill 😂 Love the ideas of daily self assessment and peer assessments!

The joy on her face when she was “allowed” to lean into her skills was amazing! Open up the box and let them out!

Can’t forget one of my absolute favorites—the “Stay and Stray”. Forms new discussion groups and allows students to use ideas to carry forward to new discussions!

I’ve been piloting their new 8th grade Early US History curriculum…freaking love it! I will be frequently adjusting some of the questions and processing activities, the the sourcing they’ve done throughout is pretty amazing
