@800trollfree.bsky.social Hey buddy, I just read a great book called There There by Tommy Orange. It's a great debut novel by a gifted Native writer, but it made me think of you because Oakland is the setting and basically a character in the story, I thought you'd like it.

My heart feels ripped out, kinda like when we tried and failed to keep Dubya from going into Iraq. This is the kind of shit happens that makes me not nationalist at all. Yet i support it with my tax dollars.
