BTW the"overpopulated" Grad Hospital neighborhood has about half as many residents as it did at its historical peak but of course people will call Phoenix, Arizona overpopulated so

You gotta see the flyer I got about it last year. Not only will it displace the people of the I-2 lot with the overlay preventing I-2 uses but it will also displace OUR DREAMS

Here are the details. You *can* vote on Zoom, but I highly recommend showing up in person, because the NIMBYs will try to discredit your voice regardless, and it's harder for them to do this if you show up in person. www.sosnaphilly.org

How it Works:

Go to bikeaction.org/laser to access Laser Vision. Follow the onscreen prompts and submit. That’s it!

You must have a bikeaction.org account to submit to Laser Vision.

Remember: never confront drivers. Be kind, report accessibility violations, and stay safe!

Snap a photo of a vehicle obstruction and Laser Vision will submit a report to PPA's Mobility Access Violation form using location, make, and model captured automatically from your photo.

Councilman Young is seeing the emails, keep pushing! Email CMs Johnson and Squilla as well if you can (they are aware of the petition but it still could help)

If you say so. I don’t think these are separate questions unless you think “cause I say so” is a good enough reason that it’s “wrong.” The basis of your value judgement is hard to pin down and it seems like you just don’t like it. I’m sure they don’t like it either!

I don’t think it’s wrong if it’s the tool that achieves compliance. I don’t even think it’s unrelated! Transportation and housing have a synergistic relationship and always have, and not only that but they’re also tied together through things like property taxes

Municipalities basically only exist because the states want them to and the legal autonomy they’re granted by their states varies *a lot*. Is Polis violating Colorado’s state constitution or other laws here?

The idea that presidents can’t do this typically relies on constitutional arguments that don’t apply to the relationship between governors and municipalities. Despite the fact that almost all of them copy aspects of our federal system (like having a “senate”), states are not federations
