Award-winning miniature painter (haha) and disc golfer. Tzaangor enthusiast, among other things.
Got to use one of my favorite tools today when making some quick card dividers.

Despite being a big fan of BSG, rounded corners are superior.

I'm not a 2d guy, but you get the idea.

Finished painting and assembly of Ar Chaznable's Zaku. Learned a bunch about painting work flow and best practices that'll translate nicely to future models. This dude will get some lining and weathering treatment at a future time.

Completed OBR kitbash - goal was to build a model almost entirely from spare parts (apologies to Mr. Kainen - no disrespect intended). Every bit is either GW-sourced or sculpted from scratch.

We had an absolute blast at Holy Wars X - good friends, great food, and 5 incredibly fun games of Age of Sigmar.

Working on a kitbash for my bone daddies. This has been a really fun and ambitious project for my current skill set...so...this is a pipe.

Sometimes you've gotta show up and win your division in the funnest disc golf tournament of the year.

WIP of these dudes. Left is initial value set for the armor plates. Center is tester model from the weekend. Right is from 2019ish. Batching out the shields, then it'll be amber filter time.

First time working on bone daddies in 4ish years. Feels good.

Was working on getting some photos organized from the past 2 years - found some close-up shots of my S2D bases. I need to add another unit for this army on my project list. The muddy woodland bases on these guys are some of my favorites.

Hobby Labs, or 'I just learned a thing that lots of people probably already know'

Apparently you can cut polystyrene plastic card with a hot wire cutter. 30mins for a fairly decent rough shape. Another hour and baby, you got a sword goin'. Credit to @alebeard.bsky.social for the idea.

Here was my team's finished board for Holy Havoc this year, plus some WIP pics. At some point in the future, I want to spend some more time making a proper set of Mordheim-style terrain - there are a lot of things I'd do differently, given more time.
