FB went through this era where they inadvertently created really strong online communities by deleting groups frequently and with disregard. It was really a very powerful exercise and I wish some social media site would do it again.

Was trying to make two Drs appointments today neither could be served because "The scheduling coordinator is on vacation." And the "person who makes the lab slips is on vacation." Does the doctor go on vacation too? Why does everything stop functioning with one missing clerical worker?

The most horrifying part of the IVF story is she is suing for her money back. I gotta to say I see women doing this in our legal system frequently nowadays. She's obviously owed more than a refund, but we have created an environment where women under ask because they know they won't get justice.
