I think it’s more that it’s old news and the latest iterations of the series (Fantastic Beasts) were…not good. It’s like asking why Nancy Drew isn’t the hottest IP in town. Tastes change!

Gen Z has its own franchises. Stranger Things just wrapped! Percy Jackson has tons of Gen Z & Alpha fans.

The only highlight was that I got my Master’s degree from NYU. Let’s wax nostalgic about 2010 - 2015 instead.

I can’t say I’m really sad about it. 2020 was a traumatic year (for obvious reasons) and I don’t think I’d want to be reminded of that time.
