I ended up spraying it into my hands then massaging in at first because the spray sound freaked him out, but then was able to part fur (lots of fur!) near key areas and spray directly (and still rub in a bit) 🐈⬛

It’s true, so many in rescue, and apparently as well as the photo/Insta thing there’s also a lot of people still really superstitious about black cats too 😢 🐈⬛
