Designing a puzzle game is hard for me too but I think designing around The Graph to lower the amount of possibility space and increasing the # of routes to a solution, then slowly increasing possibility + decreasing the # of routes over several levels to get harder *might* be the way to go

don't know if you'd have time to make a system like this for your game but I came across this a couple weeks ago, and something like this in the backend is probably how I'd want to design puzzle games going forward youtu.be/AK8OLuRBFTw

probably a better question for @lostincult.co.uk but do you know if there's any chance of the Citizen Sleeper deluxe book ever coming back in stock? I've wanted the solo TTRPG/dice for a long time but I missed the initial run 😭

tbh you don't even need to hit gameplay before you reach that point lol. Presentation in the game is top notch

Was just playing a lil Ridge Racer Type 4 last night and forgot how much I adore the menus/graphic design of that game. The animated dot matrix preview of the map before a race (on the left) is so damn cool

Ugggghgh totally feel this. Made the big leap this weekend after distro hopping a bunch (CachyOS was the winner) but I also work a very Microsoft-heavy IT job

Didn't realize you were using Mint, are all of your monitors different resolutions? I have a 4K and 1080p monitor and last time I used it (a few months ago) the fractional window scaling between monitors was still kinda broken

Oh also my friends got really into Due Process recently, it's like R6 Siege but it doesn't suck. No hero shooter elements and procgen maps that rotate weekly, so you can't rely on map knowledge to get an edge store.steampowered.com/app/753650/D...
