Um...
WotC could benefit from not making adventures that have "someone the party trusted betray them."

"The court argued that earlier decisions 'could not have conceived of these developments'..."

I wonder if the conservative judges even realize the hypocrisy/inconsistency of this reasoning when viewed--I don't know--in terms of the evolution of firearms, regulation, and the 2nd amendment.

I'm running a 2024 campaign now. I see some good & bad in the PH revision. It is a minor improvement, but... not enough improvements were made, other flaws were unaddressed, and some changes made things worse.

For me, the likely plan is to end my campaign early & switch to a different fantasy RPG.

*Sigh* If only they had kept an "NPC" section rather than making a DM stumble upon the non-intuitive "tough" in the alphabetical listing. And how would one know that they really wanted a "warrior" stat-block for a fighter NPC or a "priest" stat-block for a cleric? Just put all non-monsters together

Ack! I forgot Runehammer (10 years).

You have the most longevity for Youtube AFAIK (14 years), but your regular "talking head" stuff seems to be RTG (9 years).

Seth Skorkowsky (9 years).

The oldest RPG "talking head" channel I've come across goes to Nerdarchy (11 years) followed by Guy Sclanders' "How to be a Great GM" (10 years).

Another vote for Wonderdraft--but grudgingly. It's a bit clunky and could really use some added features--like the ability to expand a map that I've created rather than having to start from scratch (like adding regions as the PCs go to areas you've yet to flesh out).

I've been running midday as that is when people can meet, but I would prefer to start around 9 or 10 AM.

I keep "prepping" all morning when I run a game at 1 PM, and that "prep" is mostly fidget prepping, because I feel I should be doing something game-related in the morning while I wait to run.

As a newer keeper (~10 games), I'm not confident in the quality of CoC 3rd party content (D&D 5e 3rd party quality is over the place--even given positive reviews). How "polished" and table ready are the supposedly well-reviewed (often by people who already know how to "fix" problem areas) scenarios?

I don't know... It sounds like a case for Leroy Brown.

As a kid, I always wanted there to be a team up with Danny Dunn and Encyclopedia Brown.

Aside from running more CoC, top candidates for new RPG are Mothership, The One Ring, Deadlands, and Night's Black Agents.

I aspired to try more RPGs, but as a forever GM, I only ran D&D 5e & one game of CoC.

My goal this past year was to learn/run 3 new RPGs, & I failed miserably (the half-dozen one-shots of CoC I ran before this year doesn't count toward the 3). This coming year my goal is to learn/run 1 new game.

Also a Dishonored fan and never played LoL. I thought the same thing while watching Arcane.

It's too bad LoL is an arena style game and not the solo-style dystopian vibe play of Dishonored. I'm a sucker for that type of game.

I'm just starting to get more into Call of Cthulhu and hope that more scenarios are in the works for the different time periods like Regency, Dark Ages, Modern, Gaslight, and others.

I actually like this idea, except I would use 1/4 damage to make the math easier to halve and halve again (round down).

The long game. Let's go! 😀

Yay! I've been waiting for over a year for more of the ttRPG community I followed on ____ to make the move out of hell and post more here.

I miss Reveal Codes. To this day, I still, rarely, get weird Word formatting where line-spaces/returns/void--or whatever TF it is--gets added and causes me anguish as I try clear formatting in vain. With WP Reveal Codes, I could zap the offending code and voila--perfect.

I've run CoC and plan on running more in the future...would like to run Shadowdark at some point.

I mean, just wait a few days & someone will scan the book and upload it on some torrent site. Sheesh. Piracy will happen.

Let content creators and youtubers--people excited about the 2024 PH--share that excitement in ways that are beneficial to prospective consumers and, by extension, the company.

Being from Michigan, I would be pretty surprised if Trump didn't carry it. I would be shocked if Trump doesn't take FL, GA, and AZ. With the lack of enthusiasm for Biden, I'm convinced WI and NV will turn Trump.

2016 made me realize that democrats are their own worst enemies.
