Day 9 cosmetic is something called dew-la-la with no description of what it is. OK keep ur secrets 😏. Noodleji is looking very regal all decked out in an emperor's outfit. Wonder if he has a general protecting him. 🤭

Day 8 is another product in the pore-fessional family. A moisturizer. Day 8 Noodleji sticker i figured the caption was a song? I googled and it's from a series called Chiikawa.

I saw the preview description, and was so excited by the word bread that I didn't even attempt to guess what bread Noodleji might be before I opened it. I'm sure I would not have guessed a PRETZEL. It's very on brand for Lan Zhan, who twisted himself into knots over his feelings for Wei Ying.
The advent calendar is broken up into increments of 5, so we have entered a new packet of stickers labeled as Days 6-10. Day 6. specifically, says "good news! Noodleji is bread" A sticker of Noodleji if he were a pretzel. Perfectly shaped, with a nice toasty color as all good pretzels have. His dragon horns are little herb sprigs. Possibly rosemary or thyme. His little feetsies are still visible, as well as one of his beady little black eyes. Mayhap a poppy seed?

Day 6! Not sure what this product does, but I'm absolutely here for this diva. Look at her judging me, I can't even be mad.
Benefit cosmetics apparently likes puns a lot. This product is a pore primer, whatever that is. The tube says "the PORE-fessional" It depicts a woman with bright red lips, judging eyes, and the jauntiest hat I've ever seen.

I was stumped by this so I tried googling to see if this is a pun about a worm or snake related to eyes. The closest is something called a hawk moth caterpillar. @lexi-noodlearts.bsky.social is that what he is, or.....?
Day 5: there are Noodleji's everywhere for those with the eyes to see. A little snake or worm emerging from a mound of dirt. It has lots of little black spots with occasional big green spot.

Day 5 and we're in completely new territory with today's cosmetic. It's brow wax. I may give this one away, I don't have the energy to figure out the nuances of brows. 😅

I had to scratch my head for a bit of how Noodleji could be a hat. Thinking maybe wrapped around the head like a turban? No, it's a bonnet and his poor body is the ribbon tied in a bow.

Day 4, and loved to see there was an extra layer to unwrap. It was a box of blush, so cute! The blush color is the same as the horizon in the landscape on the box.

Fun fact: I tried to guess what sport. I settled on tennis since it has a small ball and he be tiny (in hindsight I guess golf would be smallest). Of course I was wrong, Noodleji went for the biggest. 😏

It's Day 3!! I'm inching closer to having my place decorated. The tree is still yet to go up. Today's beauty product is a lip and cheek tint! Definitely never used anything like that!
Naturally box 3 is in the third row of the cube. In front of the day 3 box is a bottle of lip and cheek tint called bene-tint. A pun because the brand name is benefit.

I love that fans have collectively decided that Lan Wangji has a sweet tooth. I cannot deal with this sticker. Noodleji in all his loooong boi glory wrapped around a stick of tanghulu giving the teeniest tiniest little *mlem* 🥰

the drawer in the second row of the cube is open and you can see amongst multiple boxes is box number 2 The item of the day is called the Pore-fessional. It is pore-clearing makeup removing cleansing oil.

The other calendar I got which has 24 days is much more niche. I adore @lexi-noodlearts.bsky.social who was offering a noodleji calendar that I couldn't pass up. Day one is Miffy themed. I get a story as well as a sticker!
Each sticker is wrapped in tissue paper with a little description attached. Day 1: When Noodleji was 5, uncle took him and Noodlehuan to The Amazing Miffy World. He had a lot of fun. A sticker of Noodleji with his little horns and dragon tail, wearing a Miffy hat with bunny ears. He is blushing a little.

The reason for choosing it is because I am a 52yo woman who wears cosmetics but gets overwhelmed by the idea of trying new things. For day 1, however, I get a tried and true item - mascara!
The rows of the cube are drawers in which there are numbered boxes of different sizes and shapes. Box number one has a tiny black mascara tube called Fan Fest in a pale pink font.

It's that time of year again! I'm doing advent calendars again. This year I'm doing a mix of commercial and small creators. For the commercial bit, I'm going with a "glam cube." As a girlie who is also an 80s nerd, the resemblance to a rubik's cube is sending me.

Needed some frames so I went to a place that has a lot of second hand and vintage stuff. Ended up getting these 2 things that put me in mdzs feels. A purple lotus ring and a rabbit statue. Bunji!!!

Today i got my Noodleji advent calendar and I'm so excited! It came the same day as fabric I ordered with a crow on it in honor of Crowxian. Coincidence? I think not! Anyway, I'm excited for December to open up daily cutie patootie Noodleji! Thanks @lexi-noodlearts.bsky.social 😊
Next to the shipping envelope, which features a singing Noodleji, are little packages with dates on when to open them. 25 days! Also a sticker featuring Lan Wangji in the shape of rigatoni. Rigatoniji. All this rests on a piece of fabric featuring a crow next to a tree in the style of artist Gustav Klimt. I bought the fabric because of Crowxian and my love of art nouveau.

Omg he reminds me I recently got a fox decoration that is tooootally different from all my other fox decorations 😏 in the sense that he has beautiful curls.

Give me strength. It's Yibo wearing a fuzzy sky blue Banana in brand turtleneck sweatshirt and sweatpants. The shirt has a tomato on it. Yibo is sitting in a lounging posture on the ground surrounded by fake large tomatoes. I chose the picture because I thought they were pumpkins and figured it would be apropos for the season.
