Canada’s economy is considered one of the strongest in the world right now. He’s signed several trade agreements with other countries from the EU and Asia to offset what the US is no longer buying
It’s one thing to not like what he’s done but I claim he’s wrecking our economy is not based on reality

That was a lot of years of therapy for both of them having to watch me relive that news over and over

15 years ago, I had a severe traumatic brain injury after my daughter and I were t-boned by a drunk driver. When I woke up from my coma, my brains were scrambled (understatement)
My husband and 14yo had to tell me multiple times over multiple days that my 11yo wasn’t going to survive

I know it’s weird for anyone who hasn’t lived it but isn’t it nice when they finally get through the stages of “I know I’m losing my mind and am scared” and paranoia and finally hit the stage of not remembering your name but they’re happy

3 days later he had a vomiting “fit” (if you’ve ever seen anyone with gastroparesis throw up, you’ll understand). He aspirated because they had him in his bed to eat instead of in a chair at a table (low staffing for the weekend). He died later that week

It’s not just a case of patients needing to speak up. It’s also an issue for healthcare workers to listen to patients when they do speak up. I spoke up about a medication they took my dad off of for his gastroparesis. I got a nice pat on the head and a “We’ll see what happens”
