The boy decided that The Wild Robot series needed a fourth installment, so he wrote his own book: “The Wild Robot Bilds” (unedited first draft)

Man, it has been over a month since I picked up the sticks, maybe longer. Went into this Jimmy Smith song (8 Counts for Rita) cold and it shows. https://jagibson.org/2025/12/27/man-it-has-been-over.html

A couple of weekends ago I went to Kansas City for a drum event at a friend’s jazz club. The event was a clinic by WFLIII Drums, owned by Bill Ludwig III, grandson of Bill Ludwig of Ludwig drums (B3 used to manage artist relations at Ludwig). Anyways, I met the man, and he signed my snare.

My mother-in-law bakes 6-8 of these sourdough loaves per week it seems. Poor me.

My wife took this wonderful photo of our son during their outing at a nearby lake today. She’s always had a knack and talent for photography, she never wanted to pursue it professionally.
All that to say, I’m a lucky bastard to get these from her.

I’ve had the CD since I was 18 or something. Pure bossa, as if the musicians were in your living room. You can hear the clinking of the ice in the whiskey glass, the lighting of the cigarettes. Super excited for this vinyl copy I just ordered.

Check out their version of Nature Boy

Man, Matt Cameron left Pearl Jam. I wonder what his next gig will be. I really enjoyed his 3rd Secret stint. He and Kim Thayil go so well together.
