Shock and awe.

I do not think those words mean what you think they mean…

Day 2 of 1461 and we haven’t invaded Canada yet. That’s a plus.

And so, on this final day of days, they feasted and raised glasses, celebrating in high spirits their liberty of existence, with only some aware of the burden of history and its portents.

Weird that New Year’s Day is a time-off holiday for many but Election Day isn’t.
