Chickens against the alt-Reich.

This girl here is a speckled sussex I took in, after her old flock tried to unalive her. She's got cancer and will be living her best life, until the point comes that euthanasia is the kindest option.

She's snuggly. Especially when I'm internally screaming.

Haven't posted on Bluesky in a good while. Still here, still alive. Still active. Still fighting. Also have chicks I hatched out. Y'all should take a breather from the dumpster fire, death, violence, impending civil war and depression... and appreciate the cuteness.

Meet Kim and Shego. I was on lists for the last year for any solo, female gerbils out there. And ended up in contact with not only one I was looking for, but one that matched Shego's age.

Good things do still happen. Tiny morale boost in the good fight.
