Happily, I passed my viva with minor corrections yesterday afternoon and am now the sort of doctor who will be of no use at all if you're, say, bleeding out on a plane.

Submitted a PhD today. If I was interesting enough to have haters, boy - what a bad day for them this would be. Or, depending on their hater ethos, a great day. Would the haters and I perhaps be on the same side today? Sadly, we'll never know

2025 is difficult

Really happy that Peter Gizzi won the TS Eliot Prize. The new Ela Minus album is great. New Perfume Genius song is too. I hand in my PhD very soon and will be able to read books for 'pleasure' again
