This was taken from a WW2 doc about the Pacific. When a ship crossed the equator they had a party. As you can see each department had to have at least one contestant in drag for the beauty pageant. The US navy was having drag shows on ships 80 years ago. Let that sink in. 80 YEARS AGO.
