Newcastle United fan. Massive Joe Willock ultra.
Aye, I think we’d be better off with Pope. Hopefully the break from the team has helped him mentally, as a lot of the errors were silly ones. With Ramsdale, this is just his level. At least we know Pope has a higher one.

You have perfectly embodied social media 😂 fantastic post.

Need a new keeper, but we’d definitely concede less with Pope in goal.

I’ve been battered for my Ramsdale stance and there’s definitely a bit of confirmation bias in there now, but he really didn’t look comfortable with the aerial bombardment late in the game. New keeper a must.

Oh don’t get me wrong, we were the better team and plenty of positives to take. Just weren’t good enough in our final action to turn promising situations into big chances.

As long as we get Europe of some description, I’ll be happy with the season.

It all stems from his terrible punch though. Meant the ball remained a threat and he wasn’t then set to save the shot. He doesn’t look comfortable at all under an aerial ball.

Only the penalty was statistically considered a big chance.

Still think we’re trending in the right way. More positives than negatives since the Brentford game. Not going to fix everything quickly though.

We’d have all taken 7 points from 9 in the last three league games. Have to beat Burnley for it to be a successful period though!

We’ll climb the table mate. Definitely will finish top half (and hopefully a few places into it)

Not sure Trafford is a nailed on improvement either mind… and he’ll cost a bit more than last summer.

Risk and reward isn’t it. Pope’s game is full of risks but when it pays off, it’s great, like with Haaland last week. Got a bit lucky but Haaland was shocked to see him. If Ramsdale was in goal, Haaland goes though and scores.

My only concern with Ramsdale is that he’s not very active. Was glued to his line last night. Didn’t do much to help his defenders.

I didn’t mean in terms of Howe. He’s safe for a while yet, more that the away form will become a self fulfilling prophecy.

I know people said we couldn’t lose at Brentford, but I really don’t think we can lose at Everton.

Result doesn’t hurt in the grand scheme of things in this competition, but losing another lead away from home is a hammer blow to our long term hopes in all comps. Mentality issue.
November 25, 2025 at 10:49 PM
We’ll be fine. Doubt we need another point but a win against PSV will do it.
November 25, 2025 at 10:47 PM
Yep, hopefully that improves the issues, but what if it doesn’t?
