Seneca Valley tacks on a few more runs and takes Game 1 of the series 7-1.

After driving in the go-ahead run, Piekutoski comes around to score on Olayer's single here to make it 3-1 Seneca Valley T8. Rebholz then helps his own cause with a single to right, 4-1.

That's one way to end a threat. Cuffman thrown out trying to steal 3B, so we head to the 7th with Seneca Valley and Butler still tied 1-1.

Best works out of a runners on the corners jam to keep things tied at 1-1. He settled in for a while, T5 was his roughest inning since the first.

Butler ties it on an error at SS. Boring ripped a hard one there, Lenyk delayed just enough to obscure the eyesight of Cahall and then scored from 2B to make it 1-1 after 2.

Big day from Moniteau's Ashton Grossman. Cleared a PR of 15-0 to win gold, then tried for the Butler Invite record of 15-8. Missed it, but here's his best attempt at it.
