day 5 is done, made 4 more Alien designs!
i'm doing a LOT of sprite work considering the game isn't made yet... sike!

trying out trello for project planning this time (copying @thinmatrix.bsky.social's lol), finally made the repo and godot project today!

day 3 is done and i have ALREADY broken my schedule, i did 5.5h today whoops...

did some interesting Value, Profit, Loss for the GDD (this is for all future projects too🧠). don't think these are good metrics, but it's something i'm considering!

i have designed one Alien so far (this one's called "Identity"), i think i like the aesthetic and shape of the og Space Invaders sprites: 8x16 px wide, NOT CENTRED >:)

this is the upgrade colours of what every Alien can go through (not great accessibility...)
