We all understand Republican solidarity on this one. Circle the wagons, etc. But why are key Democrats not talking about this on the floor of Congress every day? When this story is all over, we will see that complicity at the highest levels of the Democratic Party were not without a reason.

Crypto is like 2005 derivatives. Few understand it. Or why it's good, but they're buying it like.. derivatives in 2005. It's always volatile. It is an intangible asset. It rests in a digital wallet. It is a supposed hedge against other tangible assets but is something else entirely. Caveat emptor.

Somebody is fighting the last war here.Harris was an awful candidate. Period. Don't listen to me, just think about how awful a candidate you would have to be to LOSE to Donald Trump in 2024? That is an awful candidate. Just being BETTER THAN TRUMP is not a strategy-it is Democratic consultant-speak.

I'm afraid before this is all over it will prove to be much more involved than just Congressional Republicans.

Not just men: G. Maxwell and unfortunately, many others.

Hey Peter, you seem like one of those 'if we can't have everything, we won't acknowledge anything' people. Pretty immature; and self-defeating. I hope people see you for the young, non-strategic man-child you appear to be. You're not helping.

I've read the first 20 replies to this post and NOT ONE mentions the names of Biden or Garland. That is why we are here. Accountability is for Democrats too.

Nice ageist slur but a reminder that the mayor of LA is not old or white or male and could do a lot more to rein in the force but absolutely will not. EVER.

...and it would be just 14 years until he appointed the worst AG in US history; and here we now are.

The word NEEDED is doing some very heavy lifting here.

Thank God that turned out the way it did.

Great that it shocks you, it should. But it should also anger you that Democrats are still not cynical or ruthless enough to even dump Schumer and Jeffries AT THE MINIMUM so that there's a chance to avoid disaster.

LA is going to be so sorry they elected Bass for Mayor.

It looks like literally everyone in the city was there.

Brooks? And three dozen others. Odd volume of new writers and editors for such a marginal magazine.
January 30, 2026 at 9:40 PM
Of course that is 100% correct...but the Democrats better run a better candidate next time too-- because 'better than Trump' is not going to cut it as the standard and don't delude yourself that it will.

Nissan is in critical financial trouble and for some reason thinks that pricing their cars In the stratosphere is the way to create the positive cash flow to fix this. I will be happy to show them why the roads are filled with the wreckage of companies who tried this before.
January 30, 2026 at 9:31 PM
Why did you ever think that?
January 30, 2026 at 9:23 PM
This is a nonsensical article on many levels ESPECIALLY for people who own electric cars.It was a six figure, over designed novelty aimed at a niche within a niche. Tesla never knew how to market it successfully to create a trickle down effect across their lower priced models which was its purpose.
