Why is it that when someone I feel positively about is having negative emotions, I begin to feel negative myself - I feel sad, or upset, or go quiet. I feel like I want to help them but I don't know how. Or if they're angry I feel like I need to be the peacekeeper and calm things down?

Got new pc. Put SSD in from old dead pc. Windows goes "nah mate, it's locked with bitlocker". I purposefully didn't set up the old pc with a windows account, because fuck that. Internet is telling me all the data is basically lost now. Fuck Microsoft & fuck windows.
