Congratulations to @philadelphiaunion.com for winning the @mls.bsky.social Supporters' Shield. Every other team in the Shield race had a dip at some point over the past couple of months, but the Union never did. Incredible job by Bradley Carnell. #DOOP

I’m genuinely surprised it’s happened this year. Huge credit to Philadelphia for not dipping when so many others have… though job’s not done yet!

Because of Inter Miami’s loss tonight against Chicago, the Philadelphia Union can now win the Supporters’ Shield this weekend without needing any other results. If they beat NYCFC on Saturday, they win the 2025 Shield.

Watching back, I did save myself a bit by saying “friendlier”, which, from a comparative sense, I think everyone can agree is accurate 🤣🤣🤣. But yes, the longer that went on, the more I doubted my initial read of that situation!

Thanks, Jeremiah. Really appreciate that. Our producer Brad Mertel, director Jim Dadonna, and entire production crew deserve a ton of the credit for making sure the broadcast properly showcased the magnitude of the occasion and making our jobs easy!

Wonderful time in Austin for the @mls.bsky.social All-Star Game - the perfect city for a great party and a big event! Looking forward to the 2026 #MLSAllStar Game in Charlotte!

Yes, very fair! Though there’s a good argument to be made that anybody watching a preseason game is, by definition, a sicko. (Which, by the way, I consider to be a very good thing!)
